April 23, 2009 we welcomed our first child into the world. We are very excited to be parents, although quite nervous as he has a severe congenital heart defect called tricuspid atresia. This defect requires a series of three surgeries in order to allow the heart to function. We do not know what the future holds for our family, but we believe that he has being given to us for a reason, we are excited to show him a life of love and happiness.

He's out!
He's out of surgery. It went great! We haven't gotten to see him yet! But, dr. Hanley seemed very happy and his sats are 100%!!!
